REVENUE SOURCES, ADVERTISING, AND DIRECT MARKETING POLICY
1. Revenue Sources & Business Model
The International Journal of Research and Review in Applied Science, Humanities, and Technology (IJRASHT) operates on an Open Access business model. To sustain publishing operations—including rigorous peer review, copyediting, typesetting, DOI allocation, long-term archiving, and website maintenance—the journal relies primarily on Article Processing Charges (APCs).
- No Submission Fees: IJRASHT does not charge any fees for manuscript submission. APCs are applied only after a manuscript successfully completes peer review and is formally accepted for publication.
- Editorial Independence: Editorial decisions and peer-review evaluations are strictly independent of an author's ability to pay or waiver status. Financial considerations never influence editorial outcomes.
Fee Structure:
- Indian Authors: ₹1,500 per published article.
- International Authors: $50 USD per published article.
APC Waiver & Discount Policy:
- Government Affiliation Discount: Corresponding authors affiliated with recognized Indian or international government institutions receive a 50% discount on the standard APC. Authors must submit valid institutional proof at the time of submission.
- Low-Income Countries: Full or partial APC waivers are available to authors from low-income economies (classified under World Bank criteria) upon formal request prior to submission.
2. Advertising Policy
IJRASHT maintains a strict No-Advertising Policy.
- The journal website (com) and its published articles are completely free from commercial advertisements, pop-ups, sponsored content, or promotional banners.
- Publishing decisions are solely based on scholarly merit and scientific validity, completely uninfluenced by any commercial or financial interests.
3. Direct Marketing & Communication Policy
All direct marketing activities conducted on behalf of IJRASHT—including calls for papers, special issue invitations, and editorial board solicitations—are managed ethically, responsibly, and unobtrusively.
- Targeted Outreach: Manuscript solicitations and invitations are sent exclusively via official email channels to relevant academic researchers, university faculty, and industry scholars.
- Truthful Information: All information provided in marketing communications regarding the journal's scope, indexing status, editorial workflow, and fees is truthful, transparent, and non-misleading.
- Opt-Out Mechanism: All promotional emails include a clear mechanism for recipients to unsubscribe or opt out of future communications.
