Dr. Gunjan Gupta (top-5 finalists for the prestigious HERS SA Young Achievers Award) received a B. Tech (Electronics & Telecommunication) and M. Tech (VLSI) degrees from India in 2006 and 2011 respectively, DEng in Renewable Energy from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, in 2018.

She started her career in 2006, with more than 17 years of academic experience, and supervised more than 200 undergraduate students. She was a Post Doctoral Researcher (Satellite Systems Design) at the French South African Institute of Technology for three years (2020-2023). She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering and a member of the African Space Innovation Centre (ASIC), F’SATI, at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT), Bellville, South Africa.

She has published numerous technical papers in accredited journals, peer-reviewed conference proceedings, and book chapters. Her research focuses on LoRa Networks (Reliability and accuracy), LPWAN Technologies, LoRa-based Air quality IoT devices, LoRa WAN in satellite communication (CubeSats), and Satellite systems mission and design. Her current research activities include the Integration of LoRaWAN and 5G for IoT, LoRa Direct-to-Satellites, and IoT ground stations. She lectured on various subjects, including Solid State Devices & Circuits, Digital Systems-(1 & 2), Communication Systems, Electronic Communication, Physics, Electromagnetic Field Theory, etc. She has received numerous awards, including Best Adopting Faculty, merit award for batch topper, Student Activity Council member, and Best Paper awards at national and international conferences.

Dr. Amar Johri has been an Assistant Professor in the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at Saudi Electronic University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, since September 2019.

He has more than 17 years of academic experience. He obtained his doctorate (PhD) from Graphic Era University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. His research interests include financial services, financial markets, banking, investment, accounting, and general management.

He has published around 40 research papers in national and international journals (including Scopus Q1, Q2 indexed journals, Web of Science: SSCI, SCIE, Q1, Q2, Q3 & ESCI journals, ABDC and ABS category journals, and Proceedings of International Conferences of repute) and has presented around 20 research papers in national and international conferences.

He has worked on various research projects and is working on a few more. He has been chair of the technical sessions and honoured as a chief guest (valedictory session) at the international conference. He delivers and conducts sessions on financial planning, financial literacy, investment decisions, corporate finance, accounting information systems, corporate accounting, and Microsoft Excel and its use in account, finance, and statistics calculations. He is the reviewer and article editor of various reputed journals, including Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals, and has reviewed more than 30 research papers. He has also examined PhD theses for universities as an external examiner. He also serves as an external academic expert who reviews the program structure. His area of teaching interest includes finance, accounting, and taxation.

Dr. Devendra Prasad is a professor and head of the Department of CSE (AIML) at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), Panipat, Haryana, India. He received a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from the Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU), Mullana, Ambala, Haryana, India; before this, he earned B.Tech and M.Tech degrees.

He has 25 years of experience in teaching and research and has published more than 80 research papers in different reputed international journals and conferences. He has published 22 Indian and International patents. He has also received the Best Paper Award for conference publications.

Dr. Prasad is a Member of IEEE, USA, and ACM, USA. His research interests are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Internet of Things (IoT).
